This is a hands-on workshop for people who love food and photography and want to learn to tell a story through images. All levels are welcome!
Class will begin at 10am on Friday, September 20th and go until 4pm(ish) Sunday, September 22nd. In those 3 days we will cover a lot: finding and utilizing the best light for your photos, choosing and styling props, creating stronger compositions, working with “ugly” food, basic food styling and shooting on location. We will shoot at Clare’s studio part of the time, and on location at the Brattleboro farmers market, as well as indoors at a local restaurant. There will be demos by Clare and Q&As but, mostly, you will be doing a LOT of shooting! On Sunday afternoon, there will be a critique of everyone’s favorite images from the weekend.
